How does the ProAdjuster work?
To better understand, let's examine the idea of palpation. When a Chiropractor palpates your spine, they are checking for joint fluidity, motion and or rigidity. Improper motion effecting the nerve function is called a subluxation. In a similar fashion to palpation, the ProAdjuster can determine whether the vertebra's motion is too rigid or too fluid. It does this while you are sitting comfortably upright in a chair. The Doctor moves a sophisticated instrument up and down your spine to locate the area of subluxation. Once the Doctor locates the subluxation, the instrument gently taps, or adjusts, the vertebra into a normal state of motion. This is a very easy, secure way to be adjusted. The spine should not be too rigid (hypo-mobile). However, instead of utilizing the doctor's judgment as to what areas are hyper-mobile or hypo-mobile, the Pro-Adjuster measures precise levels of motion. It is able to do this by state of the art technology. Therefore, the Pro-Adjuster can isolate a problem area faster and more accurately than manual procedures. Three of our Doctors at HealthWise Chiropractic are trained to use the Pro-Adjuster. The Pro-Adjuster offers a more gentle, alternative approach to Chiropractic.
