Your First Appointment
Try to arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment.
When you walk in, we’ll have some paperwork for you to fill out—just like at other healthcare offices. If you have any questions or concerns about it, feel free to approach one of our friendly front-desk staff.
Gathering Your Information and Exam
The first part of the appointment is information gathering. Your Milwaukee chiropractor or one of his certified assistants will find out what brings you to HealthWise Chiropractic, administer a thorough spinal exam, and take an X-ray (if necessary).
Your Personalized Treatment Plan
Once the exam has been completed, the doctor has all the information he needs to design an effective, personalized treatment plan—which you will receive in full on your second visit.
Still, he’ll talk to you about his initial findings, make some preliminary recommendations, and perform your first adjustment and therapy.
Scheduling Your Next Appointment
Once you’re done, be sure to visit the front desk again to schedule your next appointment. Your second visit is almost as important as the first! During that visit, you and your doctor will decide upon a firm course of treatment—and, as always, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
