Michael Rottiger, DC, is a board-certified chiropractor with nearly 30 years of professional experience. He’s passionate about chiropractic medicine and enjoys treating patients at HealthWise Chiropractic in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.
Dr. Rottiger always knew he wanted to be a doctor and immediately enrolled in a college pre-med program after high school. During his junior year, however, Dr. Rottiger’s father was involved in a serious car accident that left his neck so stiff and swollen he couldn’t turn his head. Everything changed when he began seeing an experienced chiropractor. Thanks to the chiropractor’s treatment plan, Dr. Rottiger’s father regained full mobility in his neck. In that moment, Dr. Rottiger changed plans and immediately began researching chiropractic colleges.
Ultimately, Dr. Rottiger graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1990. Always a hard worker, Dr. Rottiger attended classes from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day and studied for hours every night. Chiropractic school was a full-time job, but the time spent in the books only solidified Dr. Rottiger’s passion for chiropractic medicine.
Since graduating from Palmer College, Dr. Rottiger has completed more than 300 hours of continuing chiropractic education coursework on various subjects, including pediatrics, exercise, rehabilitation, and spinal neurology. These courses help Dr. Rottiger hone his chiropractic abilities and become a better doctor to patients of all ages.
Outside of the office Dr. Rottiger keeps active. Not only does he exercise at least three times a week, but he also gets together with family to have dinner and play board games on Sundays. Dr. Rottiger is incredibly social and has been part of the same bridge group for more than seven years.
Dr. Rottiger accepts most major Insurance providers.
